Who is Tender Care Hospice?

Tender Care Hospice has been serving the Wasatch Front since 2005. Tender Care is exclusively a hospice provider and, as such, has helped numerous individuals and their families navigate the end-of-life experience.

Tender Care is owned and operated by Mike & Adam Archer of Sandy, Utah. Mike is a graduate of the University of Utah with a degree in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in the state of Utah. He has been married to his wife Julie for over 30 years and together they have four children and seven grandchildren. Mike is the Owner/CFO of Tender Care Hospice. He first became interested in pursuing hospice as a business opportunity after he lost his father prematurely to heart disease and both his mother and father-in-law to cancer. Hospice was an integral piece of each of their final days/weeks/months.

Adam (Mike's son) is a graduate of Weber State University with a degree in Philosophy. He and his wife Cori have both served in our country's Armed Forces as an Airman and a Marine, and together they have four children. Adam serves as the Administrator for Tender Care Hospice.

Where is Tender Care Hospice?

Contrary to popular misconception, hospice is not a place/location – it is a service or type of care. Tender Care Hospice brings physical, emotional, and spiritual care and support to wherever our patients call home. This can be a personal residence, nursing home, assisted living facility, hospital, or other choice of location. Although our office is located in Bountiful, we maintain available staff all across the Wasatch Front. With Tender Care Hospice, you will have access to physician and nursing services 24 hours a day, seven days a week – no impersonal answering services, no automated phone systems.
